6 recent hospital, health system executive retirements

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system executive retirements in the last four weeks:

1. Dick Brvenik, president and CEO of Carteret Health Care in Morehead City, N.C., plans to retire in February 2020.

2. Michael Collins, CEO of Manchester-based Eastern Connecticut Health Network, will retire in October.

3. John Darnell, MD, CMO of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Ky., is retiring, effective Feb. 15, 2020.

4. Keith Goodwin, president and CEO of East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville, announced his plans to retire.

5. John O'Brien, CEO of Manning (Iowa) Regional Healthcare Center, is retiring, effective Sept. 1.

6. Gary Tucker, president and CEO of Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, N.Y., is retiring in October.
