5 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

1. Medford, Mass.-based Hallmark Health President and CEO Alan Macdonald is retiring, after 20 years with the health system.

2. Providence, R.I.-based Care New England Health System President and CEO Dennis D. Keefe will retire at the end of the year.

3. Providence St. Joseph Health, based in Renton, Wash., appointed Erik Wexler chief executive of the Southern California region.

4. Toppenish (Wash.) Community Hospital's new CEO is Eric Jensen.

5. Michael Faas, president and CEO of Wyoming-based Metro Health-University of Michigan Health, is planning to retire, effective 2018.
