Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week.

They're listed below, in alphabetical order, by the executive's last name.

1. Toni R. Ardabell, president of Bon Secours Richmond (Va.) Health System, is resigning for a new job opportunity in Virginia.

2. Christine Bachrach resigned as vice president and chief compliance officer of Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System.

3. Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, N.J., named Naveen Ballem, MD, its inaugural chief clinical effectiveness officer.

4. Robert Brenner, MD, was appointed president of clinical integration and physician enterprise for Ridgewood, N.J.-based Valley Health System.

5. Grand Junction, Colo.-based St. Mary's Medical Center President and COO Brian Davidson is resigning.

6. Peter Diestel will serve as president of operations for Ridgewood, N.J.-based Valley Health System.

7. University Medical Center New Orleans selected Danny Hardman, RN, to serve as CEO, effective June 3.

8. Claiborne Memorial Medical Center in Homer, La., appointed Tina Haynes interim CEO.

9. Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, Wyo., selected Karl Hertz to serve as interim CEO, effective May 22.

10. New London (N.H.) Hospital CEO Bruce King is planning to retire at the end of 2019.

11. Akron (Ohio) Children's Hospital appointed Spencer A. Kowal CFO, effective July 15.

12. Lee Ann Liska, CEO of Augusta (Ga.) University Medical Center and executive vice president of health affairs at Augusta University, has resigned, effective June 6.

13. Michael Maiberger, executive vice president and COO of Dayton, Ohio-based Premier Health, is retiring, effective Aug. 16.

14. The Queen's Health Systems in Honolulu, Hawaii, named Harold Moscho vice president of information technology and CIO.

15. Lisle, Ill.-based Amita Health has named Michael Murrill CEO of Amita Health Adventist Medical Center Hinsdale (Ill.).

16. Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, Ohio, has tapped Denise Parrish, RN, to serve as vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer, effective July 8.

17. Keith Persinger resigned as senior vice president and chief performance improvement officer of Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System.

18. Springfield, Mass.-based Mercy Medical Center named Robert Roose, MD, CMO.

19. Flora, Ill.-based Clay County Hospital appointed Robert Sellers president, effective July 15.

20. UPMC appointed Mark Sevco president of UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

21. Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health has appointed Nicholas Testa, MD, chief physician executive of its newly formed Southwest Division, effective June 3.

22. Denver-based UCHealth selected David Thompson to serve as CFO of its northern Colorado region.

23. Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Health System has appointed David K. Vawdrey, PhD, chief data informatics officer.

24. Ron Violi retired May 24 as CEO of Wheeling (W. Va.) Hospital after leading the hospital for 13 years.

25. Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health selected Brian M. White as president of its Atlantic Group.

26. Evanston (Wyo.) Regional Hospital selected Cheri Willard, RN, to serve as CEO and chief nursing officer, effective June 10.

27. Jerry Wollman resigned as senior vice president and chief administrative officer of Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System.
