26 recent hospital, health system executive moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week:

1. Rob Brooks, executive vice president and COO of Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System, has "separated from the organization," effective Aug. 20, according to a statement emailed to Becker's Hospital Review.

2. Abilene (Texas) Regional Medical Center appointed Matt Butler CFO.

3. Michael Collins, CEO of Manchester-based Eastern Connecticut Health Network, will retire in October.

4. Abilene (Texas) Regional Medical Center named Matt Conrad COO.

5. Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz., has selected William Comer to serve as president.

6. John Darnell, MD, CMO of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Ky., is retiring, effective Feb. 15, 2020.

7. Wilson (N.C.) Medical Center appointed Theresa Dix chief nursing officer.

8. Keith Goodwin, president and CEO of East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville, this week announced his plans to retire.

9. Baton Rouge, La.-based Woman's Hospital selected Barbara Griffith, MD, to serve as CEO, effective in the fall.

10. Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Ga., named John Hoover COO.

11. McLeod Health in Florence, S.C., appointed Donna Isgett COO.

12. Nantucket (Mass.) Cottage Hospital has tapped Jeanette Ives Erickson, DNP, RN, to serve as interim president and CEO.

13. St. Mary's Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo., has appointed Bryan Johnson president.

14. Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio, appointed Dana Kocsis, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer, effective Aug. 16.

15. River Hospital in Alexandria Bay, N.Y., has tapped Emily Mastaler to serve as CEO, effective in the fall.

16. Galesburg (Ill.) Cottage Hospital tapped Bob Moore to serve as CEO, effective Aug. 19.

17. Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby, Mont., named Douglas Mudgett, RN, its new chief nursing officer.

18. Joseph Mullany, regional president and CEO of St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Bayfront Health, resigned Aug. 21.

19. Driscoll Health System in Corpus Christi, Texas, selected Douglas Myers to serve as senior vice president and CFO.

20. West Florida Hospital in Pensacola has tapped Gay Nord to serve as CEO, effective Sept. 23.

21. Worcester, Mass.-based UMass Memorial Health Care appointed Steve Roach interim president of UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton (Mass.) Hospital, effective Sept. 30.

22. Osage Beach, Mo.-based Lake Regional Health System selected Harbaksh Sangha, MD, to serve as CMO.

23. Fayetteville, Tenn.-based Lincoln Health System CEO Candie A. Starr left the role Aug. 21.

24. Lake Granbury (Texas) Medical Center has selected Amie Turner to serve as CFO.

25. Dallas-based Children's Health appointed Tammy R. Webb, RN, executive vice president and chief nursing officer.

26. Deborah Weymouth, president and CEO of UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton (Mass.) Hospital, resigned for a new job opportunity.
