25 recent hospital, health system executive moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week: 

1. Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare named Douwe Bergsma chief marketing officer.

2. Beverly Hospital in Montebello, Calif., named Sabi Dadabhai CFO.

3. Minneapolis-based Hennepin Healthcare named Jennifer DeCubellis CEO, effective Feb. 17.

4. Sky Gettys, CFO of Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio, is retiring, effective April 30.

5. Stony Brook (N.Y.) University Hospital has a new CEO, Carol A. Gomes.

6. Brookwood Baptist Health named Ken Hendren CFO of the health system and Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, both based in Birmingham, Ala.

7. Jennie Henriques left her position as chief compliance and audit officer of South Shore Health in South Weymouth, Mass.

8. James Huffman, CEO and administrator of Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, Miss., retired, and Brian Hogan was named his successor.

9. Stanford (Calif.) Children's Health named Patrick Idemoto chief strategy officer and Marcie A. Atchison, JD, chief human resources officer.

10. St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho, filled top executive roles, including naming Pam Lindemoen COO.

11. Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center, a 293-bed hospital in in Las Vegas, has welcomed Christopher Loftus as CEO/managing director.

12. Minneapolis-based Children's Minnesota named Dave Lundal CIO and vice president of information technology services.

13. Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial, Neb., named Matthew Musgrove CFO.

14. Boise, Idaho-based Saint Alphonsus Health System named Steven Nemerson, MD, chief clinical officer.

15. Tyler-based UT Health East Texas selected Tracy O'Daniel as division vice president of quality.

16. Bob Phillips, CEO of Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, Ala., will leave his executive role, and Mike Neuendorf, CEO of Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala., will lead both hospitals.

17. Washington, D.C.-based Providence Health System named Latriece Prince-Wheeler executive director.

18. Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network tapped James Rohrbaugh to succeed former CFO Jeffrey Crudele, who retired at the end of 2019.

19. St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho, welcomed Chris Roth as its new president and CEO.

20. Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System tapped Angela A. Shippy, MD, to serve in an expanded role as senior vice president and chief medical and quality officer.

21. Lewes, Del.-based Beebe Healthcare selected David Tam, MD, to serve as president and CEO, effective in April.

22. CEO Brad Wehe and CFO Sara Lusignan left Altru Health System in Grand Forks, N.D.

23. Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kan., named Robert Whitaker president and CEO, effective March 1. 

24. Lawrence (Mass.) General Hospital tapped Deborah J. Wilson as president and CEO.

25. Michael A. Young is the new CEO of Philadelphia-based Temple University Health System.
