25 recent hospital, health system executive moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week:

1. San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in Banning, Calif., has dropped the "interim" in CEO Steve Barron's title.

2. Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Ky., has tapped David Brash as CEO, effective Dec. 2.

3. Billings (Mont.) Clinic has selected Scott Ellner, DO, to serve as CEO, effective in January.

4. Rush Copley Medical Center's President and CEO Barry C. Finn will retire Nov. 15.

5. Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, appointed Mark Gregson interim CEO, effective Nov. 11.

6. Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare named Charles Gressle president of its Fort Lauderdale-based East Florida division, effective Dec. 1.

7. MemorialCare Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach (Calif.) has tapped Susan Herman, DNP, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

8. Trampas D. Hutches will become president of Farmington, Maine-based Franklin Community Health Network, effective Jan. 1.

9. Norfolk, Va.-based Sentara Healthcare named Phillip E. Jackson, DSL, president of Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, N.C., effective Nov. 30.

10. Columbus, Ohio-based Mount Carmel Health System has tapped Nicholas Kreatsoulas, DO, to serve as chief clinical officer, effective Jan. 15.

11. Rebecca Lewis, president of Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, is retiring at the end of the year.

12. Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J., named Maggie Lundberg, RN, chief nursing officer.

13. Morganton, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge appointed Barry Nelson, RN, vice president of nursing and chief nurse executive, effective Oct. 1.

14. Rochelle (Ill.) Community Hospital has appointed Gregg Olson CEO, effective in January.

15. Andrea Dodge Patstone will become president of Western Maine Health in Norway.

16. University Hospital in Newark, N.J., has tapped Chris. T. Pernell, MD, to serve as chief strategic integration and health equity officer.

17. Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth has selected Charles Prosper to serve as chief executive of the PeaceHealth Northwest network.

18. Providence, R.I.-based Care New England Health System appointed Matt Quin president and COO of Women & Infants Hospital in Providence.

19. St. Joseph's Health in Syracuse, N.Y., has selected Janet Ready to serve as COO.

20. Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, Ind., has tapped Todd Rumsey, MD, to serve as CMO.

21. David Spivey was appointed interim president of Mount Carmel East in Columbus, Ohio.

22. Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare promoted Saum Sutaria, MD, to president and COO.

23. Mark Turner, president of Memorial Hospital Belleville (Ill.) and Memorial Hospital East in Shiloh, Ill., is going to retire next April.

24. Cavalier County Memorial Hospital in Langdon, N.D., has selected William Van Noy to serve as CFO.

25. Nicklaus Children's Health System in Miami selected Arianna Urquia to serve as CFO.
