Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. East Meadow, N.Y.-based Nassau University Medical Center appointed Donald Ashkenase executive vice president and COO, effective April 18.

2. Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, selected Donna Bergman to serve as chief improvement officer.

3. Sullivan (Ind.) County Community Hospital selected Jim Bishop to serve as CFO.

4. Pascagoula, Miss.-based Singing River Health System named Lee Bond CEO.

5. Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, Mass., permanently appointed Ron Bryant president and Deb Provost chief nursing officer.

6. Danville, Ind.-based Hendricks Regional Health named Barry Freeman, MD, first vice president and chief clinical integration officer.

7. Richard Hilton, administrator/CEO of Starkville, Miss.-based OCH Regional Medical Center, is retiring.

8. High Point (N.C.) Regional Health selected James Hoekstra, MD, to serve as president, effective in September.

9. Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare tapped Sally Hurt-Deitch, RN, to serve as vice president for patient care services and chief nursing officer.

10. Piedmont Newnan (Ga.) Hospital appointed Jennifer Key, BSN, MSN, chief nursing officer.

11. Michael Kirschner is Danville, Ind.-based Hendricks Regional Health's new vice president and chief physician practice management officer.

12. Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London, Conn., tapped Caren Lewis, BSN, RN, to serve as its chief nursing officer.

13. Chippewa County Montevideo (Minn.) Hospital hired Brian Lovdahl to serve as CEO.

14. Clarinda (Iowa) Regional Health Center appointed Chuck Nordyke CEO, effective July 1.

19. The Hospitals of Providence in El Paso, Texas, selected Nicholas Tejeda to serve as market CEO.

20. North Oaks Health System in Hammond, La., hired Diane Thompson, RN, PhD, to serve as chief nursing officer.

21. Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, appointed Angela Treasure, RN, chief nursing officer.

22. Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth, Neb., named John W. Werner CEO.
