22 latest hospital, health system CNO and CMO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system chief nursing officer and CMO moves in the last four weeks.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Children's Hospital in New Orleans tapped George Bisset, III, MD, to serve as CMO.

2. University of Cincinnati Medical Center tapped Beverly Bokovitz, DNP, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

3. Coshocton (Ohio) Regional Medical Center promoted Gary J. Carver, MD, to CMO.

4. The University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center selected Karen K. Davis, PhD, MSN, RN, to serve as associate vice president and chief nursing executive, effective June 1.

5. Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock (Ark.) tapped Michele Diedrich, BSN, DNP, to serve as chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care.

6. Plantation (Fla.) General Hospital named Jesse Gabuat, BSN, chief nursing officer.

7. Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health selected Dan Handel, MD, to serve as CMO of its south central region.

8. Kalispell (Mont.) Regional Healthcare Chief Nursing Officer Karen Lee, RN, announced plans to retire Dec. 31.

9. Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London, Conn., tapped Caren Lewis, BSN, RN, to serve as its chief nursing officer.

10. Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health appointed Tammy Lundstrom, MD, senior vice president and CMO, effective April 30.

11. Medical City North Hills in North Richland Hills, Texas, named John Marker, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer, effective April 9.

12. Pennington, N.J.-based Capital Health appointed Deborah Mican, RN, chief nursing officer.

13. Jennersville Hospital in West Grove, Pa., tapped Claire Bradley Mooney, MSN, RN, to serve as vice president and permanent chief nursing officer.

14. Cortez, Colo.-based Southwest Health System's Chief Nursing Officer Karen Pasquin is no longer with the organization.

15. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health selected Netonua Reyes, BSN, MSN, to serve as COO and chief nursing officer at Fort Lauderdale-based Broward Health Imperial Point.

16. Rockford, Ill.-based Mercyhealth appointed Doreen Timm, MSN, senior director and chief nursing officer for Mercyhealth Hospital-Rockton Avenue in Rockford and Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center-Riverside.

17. Nashua-based Southern New Hampshire Health appointed Timothy Scherer, MD, CMO of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, also in Nashua, effective April 4.

18. North Oaks Health System in Hammond, La., hired Diane Thompson, RN, PhD, to serve as chief nursing officer.

19. Paris (Ill.) Community Hospital/Family Medical Center appointed Tiffany Turner, BSN, MSN, RN, vice president of nursing and chief nursing officer.

20. Dignity Health's St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, Calif., named Nancy Valla, BSN, RN, chief nursing officer.

21. Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif., tapped Clyde Wesp, MD, to serve as CMO.

22. OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee, Ill., appointed Shelley Wiborg, RN, chief nursing officer.
