Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system chief nursing officer and CMO moves in the last four weeks.

The CNO and CMO moves are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville, Ill., selected Scott Boston, MD, to serve as CMO, effective April 1.

2. South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, N.Y., tapped Stacey A. Conklin to serve as senior vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer.

3. St. Louis Children's Hospital selected Alexis Elward, MD, to serve as CMO.

4. Knoxville-based University of Tennessee Medical Center Senior Vice President and CMO Jerry Epps, MD, is retiring, effective April 15.

5. Glens Falls (N.Y.) Hospital named Howard P. Fritz, MD, vice president of medical affairs and CMO.

6. West Hills Hospital & Medical Center in Los Angeles tapped Janeen Gallego, BSN, MSN, to serve as permanent chief nursing officer, effective in January.

7. Matthew Gibb, MD, executive vice president and CMO at Urbana, Ill.-based Carle, is leaving.

8. Arlington Heights, Ill.-based Northwest Community Healthcare named Eileen Gillespie, RN, DNP, permanent executive vice president and chief nursing officer.

9. Knoxville-based University of Tennessee Medical Center selected Keith Gray, MD, to serve as senior vice president and CMO, effective March 1.

10. Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, N.C., appointed Elaine Griffiths, MSN, RN, vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer.

11. PIH Health Hospital-Whittier (Calif.) named Paulette Heitmeyer, RN, chief nursing officer.

12. Cache Valley Hospital in North Logan, Utah, tapped Jess Jewett, MD, to serve as CMO.

13. McLaren Greater Lansing (Mich.) tapped Deborah Leblanc, BSN, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

14. VA New England Healthcare System in Bedford, Mass., selected Lisa Soleymani Lehmann, MD, PhD, to serve as its permanent CMO.

15. Stony Brook (N.Y.) University Hospital selected Julie Mirkin, DNP, RN, to serve as the chief nursing officer, effective Feb. 7.

16. South Lake Tahoe, Calif.-based Barton Health selected Matthew Wonnacott, MD, to serve as CMO.

17. DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit tapped Vinay Pallekonda, MD, to serve as CMO.

18. Greene County General Hospital in Linton, Ind., tapped Frederick Ridge, MD, to serve as CMO.

19. Fishers, Ind.-based IU Health Saxony Hospital tapped Larry Stevens, MD, to serve as CMO.

20. Conemaugh Meyersdale (Pa.) Medical Center selected Pam Swansboro, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

21. Emory Johns Creek (Ga.) Hospital appointed Shawn Tritt, MD, as CMO.

22. Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Parkridge East Hospital promoted Lynn Whelan, DNP, RN, to chief nursing officer.
