The following hospital and health system executive moves were announced or made in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Rockford (Ill.) Health System President and CEO Gary Kaatz will retire effective June 26.

2. West Virginia United Health System in Fairmont named Douglas Coffman CFO.

3. University Medical Center in Lebanon, Tenn. announced that James W. Morris II, MD, will serve as CMO effective Aug. 3.

4. Portsmouth (N.H.) Regional Hospital CEO Anne Jamieson will leave her position June 26.

5. Sierra Providence Health Network in El Paso, Texas, named Henry "Hank" Hernandez CEO of its new teaching hospital, which is now under construction.

6. Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, Pa., named Jeff Hunt CEO.

7. Bernadette Spong is leaving Raleigh, N.C.-based Rex Healthcare to become CFO of Orlando (Fla.) Health.

8. Cape Regional Health System in Cape May CourtHouse, N.J., appointed Andrea McCoy, MD, CMO.

9. Joseph Bernard, CEO of Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring, Fla., resigned.

10. Henry Ford West Bloomfield (Mich.) Hospital promoted Karen Harris, RN, to chief nursing and operations executive.

11. Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville, Ga., appointed long-standing CFO Brenda Qualls acting CEO.

12. Sterling (Colo.) Regional MedCenter, part of Phoenix-based Banner Health, hired Tiffany Weber as the facility's new CFO.

13. Star Medical Center, a surgical hospital in Plano, Texas, named Amy Binkley CNO.

14. Green Bay, Wis.-based Prevea Health added Laura Nelson, MD, as the organization's new vice president and CMO—Northern Division.

15. Yuma (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center named Robert (Bob) J. Trenschel, DO, CEO.

16. Longview (Texas) Regional Medical Center CEO Jim Kendrick will leave his position at the end of July to serve as Network CEO for 10 Oklahoma hospitals affiliated with Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.

17. St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell, N.Y., named Raymond J. Mayewski, MD, interim CMO/medical director.
