16 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

1. Habersham Medical Center in Demorest, Ga., selected Barbara Duncan as acting CEO.

2. Mercy Health-Cincinnati appointed Kenneth James its permanent East Market president and CEO.

3. McLaren Oakland in Pontiac, Mich., selected Margaret Dimond, PhD, to serve as president and CEO, effective Nov. 20.

4. Stoughton (Wis.) Hospital President and CEO Terry Brenny is retiring, effective June 2018.

5. Richard C. Breon, president and CEO of Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Spectrum Health, plans to retire, effective Jan. 1, 2019.

6. Mark Crawford, CEO of Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, resigned.

7. Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa, selected Glen Winekauf to serve as CEO.

8. Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville, Colo., appointed Jillyan McKinney CEO, effective Nov. 20.

9. Beatrice (Neb.) Community Hospital and Health Center appointed Richard Haraldson CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2018.

10. Stony Brook (N.Y.) University Hospital named Ernest Baptiste CEO, effective Nov. 27.

11. Burlington-based University of Vermont Health Network appointed Stephens Mundy permanent president and CEO of Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y.

12. Dennis W. Pullin assumed the president and CEO roles at Marlton, N.J.-based Virtua health system, effective Oct. 12.

13. Broomfield, Colo.-based SCL Health selected Lydia Jumonville to serve as permanent president and CEO.

14. Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado selected Scott M. Street to serve as CEO, effective Oct. 30.

15. McLeansboro, Ill.-based Hamilton Memorial Hospital District's board voted not to renew CEO Greg Sims' contract.

16. Hammond-Henry Hospital in Geneseo, Ill., appointed Mark Kuhn CEO, effective Oct. 23.
