15 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, Calif., named Richard Fletcher, PharmD, CEO.

2. Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, Wis., appointed Andrew Barth CEO.

3. Seattle-based Swedish Health Services tapped R. Guy Hudson, MD, as its permanent CEO.

4. J.C. Blair Health System in Huntingdon, Pa., selected Adam Dimm to serve as CEO, effective July 1.

5. Palm Springs, Calif.-based Desert Regional Medical Center appointed Michele Finney its permanent CEO, effective immediately.

6. Corvallis, Ore.-based Samaritan Health Services President and CEO Larry Mullins is stepping down at the end of the year, after leading the health system for 25 years.

7. Canton, Ohio-based Mercy Medical Center President and CEO Thomas E. Cecconi is retiring, effective Dec. 31.

8. Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System President and CEO Benjamin K. Chu, MD, stepped down, just one year into his tenure.

9. Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, N.Y., selected Jonathan Schiller as its new CEO, effective June 26.

10. Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Corp. appointed Tammie Chavez Stump, RN, CEO of Union County General Hospital of Clayton, N.M.

11. Cincinnati-based Mercy Health named Ken James interim CEO of Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati and Clermont Hospital in Batavia, Ohio.

12. Abilene, Kan.-based Memorial Health System appointed Harold Courtois CEO, effective July 24.

13. Mountain View, Calif.-based El Camino Hospital tapped Dan Woods to serve as CEO.

14. Joanne M. Conroy, MD, will serve as the new president and CEO of Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health.

15. Chillicothe, Ohio-based Adena Health System named Jeffrey J. Graham president and CEO, effective July 31.
