14 latest hospital, health system executive moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Scott Bond, president and CEO of the Washington State Hospital Association, will retire in January 2017.

2. Stockbridge, Ga.-based Piedmont Henry Hospital named Lily Henson, MD, as its CMO.

3. Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper (D) nominated Donna Lynne, an executive with Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente, to be his next lieutenant governor. Ms. Lynne will also serve as the state's COO, and is expected to start work May 2.

4. Erik Wexler was named senior vice president and CEO of Providence Health & Services, Southern California, effective May 2.

5. Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare appointed Eric Evans, CEO of the company's Texas Region, as president of hospital operations.

6. Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg named Jennifer Koepke, RN, BSN, vice president of patient care services and CNO.

7. Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente named Roland Lyon president of Denver-based Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Colorado.

8. Bruce Begley, CEO and administrator of Methodist Hospital in Henderson, Ky., will retire in April.

9. Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health appointed Mark Lantzy as senior vice president and CIO.

10. Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis (Tenn.) President and CEO David Archer will retire in May.

11. Philadelphia FIGHT, a provider of primary care, consumer education, research and advocacy for people living with HIV/AIDS and those at high risk, hired Barbara L. Bungy as the new COO of its community health centers.

12. St. Vincent's Medical Center Clay County in Middleburg, Fla., named James P. Machado president, effective April 4.

13. Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, Calif., appointed CFO Steve Dietlin as the permanent CEO.

14. David Zambrana, DNP, RN, CEO of University of Miami Hospital, will become CEO of Miami-based Jackson Memorial Hospital, effective April 15.
