14 latest hospital, health system CNO and CMO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system chief nursing officer and chief medical officer moves in the last four weeks.

The CNO and CMO moves are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Mountain View, Calif.-based El Camino Hospital tapped Mark Adams, MD, as its permanent CMO.

2. José Baselga, MD, PhD, medical oncologist, physician-in-chief and CMO of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, resigned after reports surfaced claiming he failed to disclose significant financial ties to the drug industry and other healthcare companies in more than 100 research articles.

3. Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health selected Beth P. Beckman, DNSc, to serve as its inaugural chief nursing executive.

4. Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colo., hired Monique Butler, MD, to serve as CMO.

5. Memphis, Tenn.-based Regional One Health appointed Martin Croce, MD, senior vice president and CMO.

6. Kathy Early has been named CEO and CNO of USMD Hospital at Fort Worth (Texas) after being named interim CEO and CNO in June.

7. Richmond-based HCA Virginia appointed Crystal Farmer, BSN, MSN, chief nursing officer for Parham Doctors' Hospital in Richmond.

8. LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Va., appointed Tonya Kelly associate chief nursing officer.

9. Norman (Okla.) Regional Health System appointed Brittni McGill, MSN, RN, its permanent chief nursing officer.

10. Overland Park, Kan.-based HCA Midwest Health selected Kimberly Megow, MD, to serve as CMO.

11. Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce Charter Township, Mich., tapped Sheri Underwood, BSN, MSN, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

12. Minneapolis-based Children's Minnesota appointed Pam VanHazinga, BSN, RN, vice president of patient care services and permanent chief nursing officer.

13. St. Louis-based Christian Hospital hired Lori Weatherspoon, BSN, to serve as vice president and chief nursing officer, effective Sept. 28.

14. Vincennes, Ind.-based Good Samaritan, a community healthcare facility, selected Molly Weiss, MD, as its CMO.
