12 latest hospital, health system executive resignations

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following recent hospital and health system executive resignations.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Mike Busch, COO of Greensburg, Pa.-based Excela Health, is stepping down.

2. Robert A. Chrencik, president and CEO of Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System, resigned, effective April 26.

3. Gail Donovan, president of health services and COO of Cincinnati-based TriHealth, is planning to step down.

4. Jim Flynn, CEO of Galesburg (Ill.) Cottage Hospital, is resigning in mid-May.

5. Geri Forbes, former CEO of Coupeville, Wash.-based WhidbeyHealth, resigned from the role April 16, changing course from an earlier announcement that she would continue to serve as CEO until she retiredJuly 1.

6. Lora Herman, MD, vice president of medical affairs of Suffolk, Va.-based Sentara Obici Hospital, is resigning.

7. Rick Majzun, former president and COO of Providence, R.I.-based Women & Infants Hospital, resigned April 8.

8. Randy Nightengale, CFO of Cody (Wyo.) Regional Health, resigned, effective May 31.

9. Isaac Palmer, CEO of Christus Shreveport-Bossier Health System in Shreveport, La., is resigning.

10. Mike Poore, regional president of Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Health Network, is resigning, effective by the end of the month.

11. Bob Rogalski, president and CEO of Greensburg, Pa.-based Excela Health, is leaving.

12. Joe Woodin, former CEO of South Peninsula Hospital in Homer, Alaska, resigned April 16.
