11 latest hospital, health system executive moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review since Dec. 18. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Mark Minick, CEO of Van Wert (Ohio) County Hospital, is leaving his post.

2. Louisville, Miss.-based Winston Medical Center named Octavius Ivy COO.

3. Lisa Carter, RN, MSN, was named CEO of Johnson City, Tenn.-based Niswonger Children's Hospital, part of Mountain States Health Alliance, also in Johnson City.

4. Louisville, Ky.-based Kindred Healthcare appointed Peter Kalmey president of its hospital division, effective Jan. 1.

5. Milledgeville, Ga.-based Oconee Regional Medical Center named Michael Vaughn interim CFO.

6. Following the arrest of the 32-year-old CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, Martin Shkreli resigned as company head Friday.

7. Cleveland-based MetroHealth System promoted Melissa Kline, MSN, RN, to vice president of nursing and CNO.

8. Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health appointed three executive leaders. Al Gatmaitanwas named executive vice president and COO, Ryan Kitchell has been named executive vice president and chief administrative officer, and Kevin Armstrong has been appointed chief mission and values officer.

9. Steve Salyer, COO of Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Fla., left his position.

10. John Grah, CEO of St. Louis-based Des Peres Hospital, is leaving his post in mid-January.

11. Craig Marks, president of Mark Twain Medical Center in San Andreas, Calif., resigned.
