10 recent hospital, health system executive retirements

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system executive retirements in the last five weeks:

1. Thomas J. Aaron, executive vice president and CFO of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems, retired.

2. Arthur J. Blank, president and CEO of Mount Desert Island Hospital in Bar Harbor, Maine, will retire at the end of this year. 

3. Medrice Coluccio, CEO of Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Wash., is retiring.

4. Randy DeGroot, president of ProMedica Coldwater (Mich.) Regional Hospital, retired.

5. Timothy Finan will retire as president and CEO of Olean, N.Y.-based Upper Allegheny Health System, effective July 3.

6. Anderson, S.C.-based AnMed Health CEO Bill Manson will retire in July.

7. John Morahan, president and CEO of Penn State Health St. Joseph in Reading, Pa., will retire in April.

8. Pat O'Donnell, executive vice president for York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health and president of Chambersburg, Pa.-based WellSpan Summit Health, will retire at the end of June. 

9. David Prather, CFO of Saint Francis Healthcare System in Cape Girardeau, Mo., is retiring. 

10. Leslie Rocher, MD, senior vice president and CMO of Beaumont, Royal Oak (Mich.), will retire in the spring from Southfield, Mich.-based Beaumont Health.
