CFO John Krepps: Making Silver Cross a Top Hospital

John Krepps brings proven financial expertise to the position of senior vice president and CFO at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Ill.

Mr. Krepps has been with Silver Cross since 1995 and most recently served as the hospital's vice president of finance. He has contributed to the hospital in various ways such as working with members of the medical staff on growth plans, designing employee benefit programs and evaluating partnership and joint venture opportunities. Additionally, his financial expertise from 2005 to 2011 helped Silver Cross earn recognition from Truven Health Analytics as one of the nation's 100 top hospitals.

Previously, he was the director of accounting at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill. He was also the accounting manager of Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Ill. He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting at Western Illinois University in Macomb and his master's degree in business administration from DePaul University in Chicago.
