These tech jobs among those receiving highest pay raises in 2017

Technology workers' salaries are projected to increase more than salaries for other professional occupations in 2017, according to a report from Robert Half Technology.

The report, covered by CIO, indicates professional occupations' salaries are expected to increase 3.6 percent next year, compared to salaries for newly hired IT workers that are expected to increase 3.8 percent.

The pay bump is expected to be the highest among data scientists, who may see up to 6.4 percent higher salaries next year. Front-end web developers' pay raises may reach 6.2 percent, big data engineers' may reach 5.8 percent and network security engineers may reach 5.7 percent, according to the data.
