Throughout the four-month effort, the project team worked with a range of healthcare providers to connect as many as possible using the technology in an effort to improve care coordination throughout the state.
Adopting the technology also helps the providers meet meaningful use stage 2 requirements, which calls on providers to participate in data exchange.
