Telehealth platform Teladoc has signed a definitive agreement to acquire HealthiestYou, a telehealth consumer engagement platform.
HealthiestYou clients will be able to use Teladoc's telehealth platform through the HealthietYou platform, which provides tools including a physician locator, prescription pricing and an outline of benefits.
"This is a unique opportunity to combine two leaders in the telehealth industry who share a common philosophy of driving telemedicine engagement and enabling consumers to take charge of their own healthcare decisions," said Jason Gorevic, CEO of Teladoc, in a statement.
