SwipeSense raises $10.6M in funding; names new VPs

SwipeSense, a healthcare technology company, completed a Series B2 funding round, raising $10.6 million.

SwipeSense developed an electronic hand hygiene monitoring application that aims to help healthcare facilities create lasting behavior change by providing data-driven information. The company has thus far raised a total of $23.3 million in funding.

The new funding will allow SwipeSense to further develop its hand hygiene solution and increase product development for new applications, such as asset tracking and nurse rounding.

The company also recently named Michael Cruz vice president of engineering, Katy De Leon vice president of marketing and Stephen Williamson vice president of sales.
