SnapMD, a telehealth technology and solutions provider, appointed Nina Antoniotti, PhD, to its clinical advisory board.
Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Antoniotti is the executive director for telehealth and clinical outreach at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.
2. She previously served as a board member of the American Telemedicine Association. She is a member of the ATA Standards and Guidelines Committee and previously served as its chair.
3. She has appeared before numerous governmental and accrediting agencies, such as the Institute of Medicine and Federal Communications Commission, speaking about telehealth and the issues surrounding it.
