Salesforces launched Health Cloud 2.0 to help companies manage COVID-19 contact tracing, vaccines and exposure notifications, and enable patients to receive hybrid healthcare services.
Four key features:
- To assist in bringing back in-person events and return-to-office initiatives, the cloud will enable attendee registration management, COVID-19 vaccine status, COVID-19 test results and vendor integration to issue COVID-19 tests, according to a Sept. 21 news release. People can scan a personalized QR code to be admitted to buildings or events.
- The cloud can notify people if there has been a potential exposure to COVID-19. Contact tracing capabilities allow people to share their information if they have been infected or exposed to COVID-19, to monitor potential outbreaks.
- The vaccine management feature allows companies to schedule appointments, enable public health notifications and more.
- The cloud allows patients to receive virtual care and care teams to come together to achieve improved patient outcomes.
