Resurgens Orthopaedics, an orthopedic medical group with numerous locations in Georgia, will implement athenahealth's cloud-based suite of EHR, practice management and patient engagement services.
Here are three things to know.
1. Resurgens comprises nearly 100 physicians in more than 20 locations.
2. Resurgens' providers will be able to see patient records from other practices and hospitals affiliated with CommonWell Health Alliance and Carequality, since athenahealth holds memberships with both associations, according to a news release.
3. "Resurgens is a forward-looking group that understands the importance of being part of a national cloud-based network and we're excited to work with them," athenahealth CEO Jonathan Bush said in the release, adding athenahealth holds 60 percent of the orthopedic market in Georgia.
