This trend held stable when breaking the data down into separate subsets. For example, the dataset is further delineated by number of physicians at site. For sites with one physician, EHR adoption only grew from 53.7 percent in January 2014 to 54.5 percent in January 2015. For sites with 26 or more physicians, adoption went from 77.5 percent to 77.2 percent over the same time period.
Data were pulled from SK&A’s database of physician practices.
