Following the publication of the final 2015 Edition Health IT Certification Criteria final rule, the ONC has published a Certification Companion Guide to help IT developers more quickly and easily understand the new regulations.
The ONC released a separate guide for each certification criterion. By breaking down each criterion as such, the ONC hopes the guides will allow developers to spend more time focused on actual product development.
Additionally, the ONC plans to publish 2015 Edition test procedures for comment. Comments on the test procedures will be online and visible to all.
