The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT and CMS have released a request for information regarding certification frequency and requirements for the reporting of quality measures under CMS programs.
The ONC and CMS issued the request to elicit public comment on health IT certification for products, such as EHRs, used for reporting to CMS quality programs. The agencies also seek feedback on how to require recertification, the number of clinical quality measures a health IT module should be required to testify to and more.
The deadline to submit feedback is Feb. 1.
