Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury has implemented the anesthesia information and medication management system Anesthesia Touch from Plexus.
The hospital integrated Anesthesia Touch into its MEDITECH EHR to improve perioperative workflow.
"The patient's history, allergies and meds all flow into the iPad. Having that information literally at our fingertips streamlines our pre-anesthesia evaluation, helping us avoid delays and keep the OR suite running on schedule," said Carroll Ruhlman, chief CRNA at the hospital.
