Here are six recent news updates on key health IT companies.

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust picked Verona, Wis.-based Epic over competitor Cerner to supply its EHR.

San Francisco-based McKesson laid off 60 employees last week at its office in Charlotte, N.C.

Woodbury, N.J.-based Inspira Health Network chose Cerner to implement its IT system, which is called InspiraOne.

Epic recognized St. Louis-based Mercy for the use of its EHR system.

New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian is the first health system to implement Boston-based American Well's telehealth software development kit.

Siemens Healthineers acquired Conworx Technology GmbH, a Berlin, Germany-based data management solutions company focused on point-of-care services.
