Here are three things to know.
1. Through the SLScan Document Management System, clinical laboratory professionals may “rapidly scan, index, electronically store and view any paper documents that come into the lab,” according to a news release.
2. The system is fully integrated with Seacoast Laboratory’s revenue cycle management software and the company’s SurroundLab Plus laboratory information system, the release states. Seacoast Laboratory said the integration aims to improve the accuracy of billing and payments.
3. “Fast access to information is critical for commercial laboratory managers. Shuffling paper documents has no place in today’s digital world. Our enhanced SLScan Document Management System can turn any outreach laboratory into a completely digital information environment,” John Herring, president and CEO of Seacoast Laboratory, said in the release.
