Mercy, Baptist Health & more to partner with health tech startups in Arkansas accelerator program

The HealthTech Arkansas accelerator program announced its new cohort of six early-stage healthcare companies chosen to launch pilot projects at nine area hospitals and health systems.

Throughout the program, each selected startup will receive seed funding from investors such as the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, as well as access to and guidance from clinicians and administrators at their partner organizations throughout the project.

The nine providers involved in the accelerator are Arkansas Heart Hospital, Arkansas Children's Hospital, Arkansas Urology, Baptist Health, CHI St. Vincent and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, all headquartered in Little Rock, along with Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy, Fayetteville, Ark.-based Washington Regional Medical Center and Conway (Ark.) Regional.
