San Francisco-based Vineti — a startup that leverages logistics, manufacturing and clinical data to improve patient access to cell and gene therapies — raised $13.75 million in Series A funding.

The funding included input from returning investors and cofounders GE Ventures and Mayo Clinic Ventures, along with new investments from DFJ and LifeForce Capital.

GE Ventures and Mayo Clinic Ventures launched the cloud-based Vineti platform to automate the production and delivery of individualized therapies. Vineti will use the Series A funding to grow its team and promote safety and regulatory compliance for cell therapies.
