Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital is teaming up with Personal Genome Diagnostics to develop new sequencing and genomics-based tumor-profiling tools that support precision medicine and diagnostics in cancer care, the companies said June 24.
MGH and Personal Genome Diagnostics initially will focus on creating a precision diagnostics tool that will support genome-sequencing testing in laboratories.
The partners said they also plan to establish an on-site training program for laboratory and clinical operations in precision medicine and genomic sequencing.
