Lifespan names Michael Kramer CTO

Providence, R.I.-based Lifespan, a nonprofit health system, has selected Michael Kramer as vice president and chief technology officer.

Mr. Kramer assumed his new duties March 9.

Mr. Kramer most recently led the information systems infrastructure at Temple, Texas-based Baylor Scott and White Health. He is a former major in the U.S. Army Signal Corps and also worked as a principal consultant and regional manager at Siemens.

Additionally, Mr. Kramer is a member of HIMSS, CHIME and is certified as a healthcare CIO through CHIME.
