Sectra topped a list of popular IT vendors ranked for their ability to set and deliver on expectations related to artificial intelligence in medical imaging, according to a KLAS Research report.
For the report, the health IT research firm surveyed representatives from 81 healthcare organizations on their experiences and goals related to AI in the imaging space. Of the representatives surveyed, 17 percent were already using AI in medical imaging, while 30 percent were actively planning to deploy these capabilities.
Here's how eight popular imaging vendors stacked up, based on their ability to set and deliver on AI expectations. Each vendor was ranked across picture archiving and communication system, cardiology, vendor neutral archive, universal viewer and advanced visualization capabilities based on the past 12 months of ratings collected by KLAS Research.
