Innovaccer, a Berkeley, Calif.-based health tech company, rolled out its Care Intelligence System platform Sept. 21 at the Becker's Hospital Review 3rd Annual Health IT + Revenue Cycle Conference in Chicago.

The platform standardizes data from across a healthcare organization to bring providers actionable insights. For example, it supports organizations in applying predictive and prescriptive analytics to help providers better understand health outcomes, at-risk patients and performance metrics.

"Data in healthcare is growing exponentially, which presents an opportunity to capitalize on value-based care," said Abhinav Shashank, CEO of Innovaccer. "With the right information in real-time, care teams can create impact at scale on population health."

The Care Intelligence System also aims to streamline functions like care coordination, leveraging artificial intelligence to set priorities, track risk scores and generate care plans. Other applications include:

  • Quality reporting. One-click reporting and quality tracking on various measures including performance percentage to assist healthcare organizations in understanding growth opportunities
  • Healthcare data integration. Connectivity to more than 60 EMRs bringing data into an integrated data lake with consolidated clinical document architecture documents and HL7 feeds, among other data formats
  • Patient engagement. Patient portals enabling easy access to patient medical history, lab results and appointments with push notifications and alerts

"With an increased focus on alternative payment models, a Care Intelligence System is required for Clinically Integrated Networks to thrive in value-based care and be prepared for future payment reforms," said Nathan Riggle, director analytics at Des Moines, Iowa-based Mercy ACO.
