How digital demand will alter the healthcare job market

Digital healthcare is on a monumental rise, and the healthcare worker pool will have to rise to meet the occasion.

A Financial Times report examines how the growth in digital technology in healthcare will alter the industry job market.

Already the C-suite reflects a shift toward understanding and managing technology. The CIO, chief analytics officer, chief transformation officer and chief information security officer are becoming regular fixtures in the healthcare C-suite, according to the report.

Even clinicians remain untouched. Desirable workers on the clinical side, including physicians, will have a firm grasp on how to manage and maximize the use of data and technology.

The healthcare job market demands its workers understand the technology of today and acquire new skills as it continues to progress.
