Hearst Health — a division of Hearst media company — and Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University's College of Population Health revealed the identities of its panel of judges for the 2018 Hearst Health Prize.
The annual Hearst Health Prize awards $100,000 to an organization or individual that has shown outstanding achievement in managing or improving health in the U.S. Its honorees are selected based on a population health impact, measurable improvement and scalability, among other criteria.
H. Stephen Lieber, president and CEO of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, was named one of the nine judges for the 2018 Hearst Health Prize. Mr. Lieber has worked with HIMSS on issues related to interoperability, IT adoption and technology standards. Other judges' areas of expertise span clinical care, health policy and public health.
