Hillary Clinton brings telemedicine into the political conversation

Staff -

Telemedicine has been gaining traction with providers and patients alike, and now this mobile health trend has entered the political arena.

Hillary Clinton made a stop in Iowa this week during her campaign for the presidency. In her speech, the former Secretary of State indicated her belief in the importance of telemedicine, according to a mobihealthnews report.

“Telemedicine can help  — and we should streamline licensing and explore how to make that reimbursable under Medicare,” she said.
