Florida Hospital Carrollwood achieves HIMSS Stage 7 for EMR adoption

HIMSS Analytics has recognized Florida Hospital Carrollwood in Tampa for achieving Stage 7 on its HIMSS EMR Adoption Model, the highest level.

The EMRAM model analyzes a hospital's implementation and utilization of IT applications.

"I am incredibly proud of our team here at Florida Hospital Carrollwood and the continued efforts our team has made to enhance and improve upon our already strong focus on a paperless system," Joe Johnson, hospital president and CEO, said in a statement. "This focus on interconnectivity makes a difference in the work environment for our staff and physicians. It also ensures that in turn our patients and their loved ones experience an enhanced level of care."
