Erlanger Health System selects Epic's EHR platform

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System will implement Epic's EHR system, a project expected to cost approximately $100 million over 10 years, according to a report from The Chattanoogan.

Erlanger CEO Kevin Spiegel said the system was deciding between Epic and Cerner, according to the report.

The implementation project is estimated to create approximately 100 new jobs at Erlanger, and up to 200 Epic employees will be on-site for the two-year installation schedule, Mr. Spiegel said in the report.
