Here are 10 recent news updates on key health IT companies.

1. New services from McKesson offer small to mid-sized hospitals disaster recovery services for their IT systems.

2. Epic joins Indianapolis-based Eskenazi Health in hosting a Connectathon, where programmers, clinicians and innovators will gather to build integrated and interoperable health solutions.

3. In collaboration with middle market private equity firm GI Partners, Allscripts signed a definitive agreement to acquire health and human services software and technology solutions company Netsmart.
