While enterprise medication inventory management can increase healthcare organizations' efficiency and financial savings, it appears that pharmacy and EHR vendors have fallen short in providing the full visibility hospitals require, according to a recent KLAS report.
For its Medication Inventory Management 2019 report, KLAS surveyed various healthcare professionals about their opinions on their organization's respective vendor's MIM software. KLAS generated responses by using both standard and supplemental evaluations.
Here's how six vendors performed for MIM purchase and consideration rates, according to report participants. Rankings are listed as "high," "medium" or "low" purchase consideration.
