“We chose Sunrise due to its depth of functionality within the application and Allscripts alignment on overall strategies and partnership,” Tammy Smittle, CEO of both Arise Austin Medical Center and The Hospital at Westlake Medical Center, said in a news release. “We believe Allscripts and the power of Sunrise will provide us with the tools and partnership needed to further succeed and grow in our markets.”

A general acute-care hospital, Arise Austin Medical Center also provides specialized care services such as orthopedics, brain and spine surgery and robotic surgery. The Hospital at Westlake Medical Center is physician-owned and specializes in emergency medical services, trauma and illness, among others.

Both Arise Austin Medical Center and the Hospital at Westlake Medical Center are owned by Attila Management, according to Community Impact Newspaper.
