Blockchain company ConsenSys Ventures has added DNA bank Genomes.io to its ecosystem of healthcare technology companies, known as Tachyon 2.0.
The 10 other companies in Tachyon 2.0 are focused on building blockchain-enabled solutions for data privacy and identity, advanced encryption, healthcare, artificial intelligence and the internet of things, decentralized finance and microinsurance.
Genomes.io is a London-based startup using blockchain to give people more ownership of their genomic data. Through the blockchain, the company offers secure and private DNA sequencing, storage and sharing capabilities.
