Clinical studies software company Curebase has appointed Alan Sun to vice president of product.
Prior to his time at Curebase, Mr. Sun was the vice president of product at healthcare analytics company Apixio. In his new role at Curebase, Mr. Sun will work to expand access to clinical trials through the company's software platform and virtual and hybrid research sites, which allow more diverse populations to enroll in studies, according to the Aug. 9 press release.
"I have a passion for finding solutions that improve patient outcomes," said Mr. Sun. "I've been following Curebase for years and love the idea of increasing access to trials. Greater diversity of trial participants will result in better-quality data and enable those who live outside of that small radius of academic research centers to receive innovative therapies and contribute to our medical knowledge."
