Cleveland Clinic has teamed up with enterprise health operating system League to develop technology and other tools that will empower employees across the country to take control of their healthcare, according to an Oct. 28 news release.
Per the collaboration, Cleveland Clinic will leverage the League's health benefits experience technology. By combining the technology with Cleveland Clinic's clinical expertise, the two hope to improve health outcomes.
Additionally, League tapped Cleveland Clinic to serve as the company's chief medical director. As the chief medical director, Cleveland Clinic will provide medical oversight, content and advisory support. By using Cleveland Clinic's resources, League hopes to develop personalized health experiences for members while also developing technology to identify health risks.
"League is working with some of the most forward-thinking enterprise companies, who are dedicated to improving employees' health," said Bill Peacock, Cleveland Clinic's chief of operations. "By tapping into these employers with our collaborative efforts, we have a real opportunity to change the way that people interact with their healthcare network."
