Circle Health to receive CommonWell services

Circle Health, a parent company of several hospitals and healthcare facilities based in Lowell, Mass., has signed up use CommonWell Health Alliance services for interoperability.

LowellGeneralHospital, the main facility operated by Circle Health, will be the first of the organization's facilities to use CommonWell services. The services are expected to go live in May, according to a news release.

Circle Health provides a collaborative approach among physicians, hospitals, health providers and healthcare organizations called complete connected care that aims to improve overall patient wellness. The aim of implementing CommonWell services is to introduce interoperability to include patients more in their care, according to the news release.
