Here are seven recent news updates on health IT companies:

1. Change Healthcare launched a new cloud security service as part of its value-based care analytics suite HealthQx.

2. Health Catalyst, a provider of data analytics and decision support, acquired Medicity, a population health-focused company offering solutions for health information exchange, business intelligence and stakeholder engagement.

3. Cerner created 50 new jobs at its operation in Dublin, most of which are focused on research and development as well as the management of its European clients' data.

4. Cue Health, a healthcare technology company focused on developing diagnostic products, snagged more than $45 million in a series B financing round.

5. Patients at several  medical practices can now schedule appointments using their Amazon Alexa thanks to a recent integration with Nimblr, a healthcare artificial intelligence company.

6. Allscripts requested an Illinois district judge to dismiss a class-action lawsuit over a January ransomware attack that took down multiple clients' EHRs for about a week, arguing the case should be resolved in arbitration.

7. Telehealth platform InTouch Health and drug store chain Rite Aid signed a letter of intent to partner and expand patient access to care via telehealth kiosks in Rite Aid pharmacies.
